Well, I suppose it's time I started collecting my thoughts into something legible, give my poor notes app a break and all. I don't plan to make this particularly fancy or polished. Its only purpose is to act as a thought dumping ground.
And no, I won't call it a blog. I don't like the sound of a blog.

How about I tell you about a movie I recently watched.
I was sitting at home, doing nothing as usual, when I turn on the Silver Screen Classics channel. Immediately I'm dropped into the middle of a movie. Seeing as I have time, I decide to tune in. I do love the 60's. It seems to be some girl named Charity Valentine, trying to get a job.
Ok. It looks promising. It's called Sweet Charity.
I watch the movie. Turns out its half movie, half musical.
There's some fun moments, a Sammi Davis Jr cameo. Yeah Daddy-O.
By around the 3 quarters mark, I'm invested. I'm watching it and I start rooting for Charity. Wholeheartedly. I call it the sweetest movie I've seen in a hot minute.
End of the movie. I'm devastated. No [true] happy ending. I'm crying, hiding my tears.
Now despite the ending, that really was one of the better movies I've seen, though that's not saying much, since I can count all the movies I've seen on one hand. Still, I love when a movie can make me feel something. Doesn't happen so much with newer movies. Its been a while since I've had a joy cry.

I do love televised movies. I'm definitely a cable tv person, always have been. I've never had subscription streaming services, and I don't see the point.
I'm not the best when it comes to watching movies. I always make a plan to, then never actually follow through. I think its because of the choice of film. They're often quite nerdy... or unappealing to the average person. I'm planning on watching the new Superman movie coming in in July. Once again, I've fallen into the same routine: Found a cool movie, wanna see it, no friends, movie date approaches, decide I no longer wanna see it, miss the movie, self guilt and pity commences.
I hope Kal-El breaks that streak, but who knows. Commitment is definitely not my strong suit, but hey, c'est la vie. If I do see it, I'll try to update how it goes.

Well I'd say that's good enough for a first update. Maybe I'll add a section of this site for some of my favorite media. Or maybe a tracker for all my global signatures. I'd like to add a bunch of cool features to this place, make it interesting.
Thank you, reader.
